Benefits of a Steady Prayer Life.

Hi readers, It's being a minute. I believe we are doing fine and holding on to God as we should. I wanted to keep this post till next year, but I realize it will do us a lot of good if we learnt about prayers as we are preparing for the New Year. So basically, I'll be discussing some benefits of a steady prayer life that God has granted me since I decided to take my prayer life serious (I was so lazy about praying that I sleep off few minutes into it , but now God is really helping me). Please if you know your melatonin level rises as soon as you lay on your bed, just stand up and don't tempt yourself to fall asleep mid-prayers . I believe this will prompt you to pray.  So you can as well read it on your feet. Don't read it on your bed please, you might fall asleep 😮 Of course He promised to answer us whenever we call upon Him and He has always fulfilled that in my(our) lives. In addition to that, and among all others, these are five benefits of a

NOT A STRAIGHT COURSE BUT BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose".  Romans 8:28 A straight course is not always the shortest distance between where we are and where we want to be.  It 'might' be another short distance to  confusion or probably destruction. Although we have our lives all planed out and we just work in line with it. But really it doesn't happen that way most of the time. There has to be some points God displaces our plans and replaces it with His. Trust me it doesn't seem like what we want at first but at the end all those interruptions from God into our lives work together for our good. Therefore having it at the back of our minds that 'our ways and thoughts are not His' will help us work more with God, trust Him and with high hopes pull through any challenging phase of our lives. Allowing God interrupt our straightway is also building humility in us. Humilit

BRAGGY BAG OF TALENTS.

This is what the Lord says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. Jeremiah 9:23 NLT Everyone has his/her own talents, abilities, empowerment in the right measure as deposited in them by God. And I know we even endeavor to learn more about others that attracts our interests. In fact we almost wants every empowerment God has to offer us. We even pray to God to add more talents to you or help you fully perfect the ones you have. Yeah that's good. It's okay that we desire all of these good things. But what are your aims. I mean after you get all these things what do you consciously or unconsciously (sometimes) do with them. A boastful person is perceived as restless, immodest, impatient, vainglorious, egotistical, proud to mention a few, but these piece will address some of it. So, here we go;       If we really dig deep into people's heart and find out why they want some things so much

BREAKING OUT OF HABITUAL SINS (ADDICTIONS).

If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.   John 8:36     Addictions are strongholds, that is anything that holds one hostage out of the will of God for one's life. Like a chain or cage, its holds one down. It makes one to actually fall short of going into God's purpose for ones live, rendering such live useless. Of what use is an object if it is not performing the function for which it was made or if it being abused? Addiction is nothing but the device of the devil to prevent God's purpose from coming true in a man's life. To direct man's attention away from what really matters. Remember at the beginning he enticed Adam and eve to eat of the forbidden fruits. Knowing fully well that God has placed man over him, he wanted (and still do) by all means to bring man down. He renders such persons useless and can even close their eyes to the fact that it is actually sinful to do these things, and that they are not in the right place God wants the

Philippians 4:13..... I can do all things through HIM who strengthens me. You are well able to do and achieve all that you put your mind to. Nothing can stop you. No force under the earth, seas or wherever can dare stop you.... Because you have CHRIST You can do all things. AMEN!

TRUST GOD AND CHILL!

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) Hi people, it's being a while I've heard the phrase 'Trust in God' like a one billion and one times now. And I've had opportunities to even encouraged a number of people with it.....'Trust in God' flying around like birds... But are we really chilling in the process of trusting in God?  By chilling i mean being rest assured that God is there for you and working it out and you don't have to fear. It is so easy to utter it out of our mouths but most of the times not supported by our actions.  I know already that when i've got that big challenge or trial before me i should trust God for perfect solution.... 'I'll trust in God' i say to myself.  But then do I really trust God as much as i declare?  Do I really allow Him have His way without wanting to interfere with what HE is doing in the process of trusting Him? Don't I jus

FAITH SEES NO IMPOSSIBILITIES!

LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEARS!             Hello everyone , it's the beginning of another wonderful year and am really excited about the so many things Bid gas in stock for us all this time. This year is just beginning and beaming with loads and loads of blessings already. It is not too early for you to start claiming and getting those blessings for yourself. It sure promises to be a the best year so far.     I'll kick start this year by imploring us to always have a positive mindset;  not in your own abilities but that of God towards everything this time. You have to be grounded and stand well in faith- Jesus Christ said we could have faith as small as mustard seed and marvels would happen as written in Luke 17:6. Yours can be bigger than that. It just simply means that you believe every bit of what was declared to you by God no matter how cloudy life seem to be,  no matter how you're trying to figure out how those marvels would come to fr
