OUR WEAKNESSES; HIS STRENGTH.

Hello reader(s), I hope God takes this little piece you are about to read and give wonderful meanings that will benefit you to it in your lives as you read In this story (Luke 5:5), these men; Simon Peter, James and John have toiled all night in a bid to catch some fish but weren't successful. They got tired of the whole thing and started to wash their nets when Christ came into the picture. They had a challenge and already gave up.... I would say they didn't give up totally,  at least they we're washing their nets.... Meaning they would still use it some other time for the same purpose. But any form of giving up is still giving up anyway. Am almost sure most of us would even drop the whole net into the sea(give up totally) in anger and dejection because afterall it is of no use since we've being fishing all this while and there was nothing to catch.       Many times we find ourselves in certain instances that we've tried and tried as much as

THE WISE ONE.

THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE, BUT FOOLS DESPISE WISDOM AND INSTRUCTION. Good day everyone. Today i will be talking on a topic which probably looks so simple but in reality it cuts across everything. This is something so crucial to our lives that we might be misled if we don't have it. It is necessary in our relationships with people, our own businesses and with God Almighty. Wisdom is the ability to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense and insight. Now, let's split the definition of wisdom into fragments: we have 1. The ability to think and act.          2. experience          3. understanding. Let's start from the 'Experience' aspect. This is gotten when you have been through a particular situation and you now know how to deal with it if such situation arises again. An example is a student that was thought a mathematical calculations by his teacher and maybe didn't get it at first but after few

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES.

Good day everyone . Responsiblity means the state or act of having a thing to do or deal with.... and being Responsible is doing those things.   We are responsible for quite a number of things that we know of but many times we claim to be too busy and we are nottaking them up. Diverse number of ways we can influence the people around us by the way we live our lives.....which our responsibilities is taking a greater niche. Not taking up our responsibilities is just like being lazy to me, remember ;"no food(profit) for a lazy man". I will like to split up our responsibilities into three categories; Personal responsibility,  Responsibilities to humanity,  Responsibilities to God. Probably i need to remind us that we are responsible for whatever it is we do with ourselves. Either you are an adult or still think of yourself as a ki d (Galatians 6:5)we all have onething or the other that we need to do for ourselves like studying, our businesses, profession, taking care of w

GODFIDENCE

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENETH ME- Philippians 4:13. I came across a message some weeks ago and it was really really imparting and promising at the same time. So in my own words i put down here for all eyes to read. I hope it will impart more into you too and be blessed as you read, Amen.              A group of boys engaged themselves in playing baseball. They actually started from their community as playfully as most other people enjoying themselves. But before they realized it, they were called upon to play against other communities which they easily beat hands down except one. Those ones escaped their wrath by beating them with 2 points ahead. They were all downcasted and because they've always been praised by so many people in their community, they felt so bad that they couldn't even face their own people afterwards. However, they didn't stop beating other communities as the game came over to them. Their only problem was this one commu

STANDING FOR THE RIGHT.

Do the right things even if you're among the minority One time or the other in our lives we've made decisions basically because we have realized that we were previously wrong and had to make everything right. Now making it all right does not come without a price/ prices to pay for it. This is the part so many people don't want to talk or hear about and that is why most people just turn back from making that right decision they ought to. Here is a little story :         A young orphan, Mark struggled his way through to the university with the little jobs he did, he supported himself and was doing fine. All of  sudden he was dismissed from the job and couldn't fend for himself anymore. He had to l ive on what friends gave him. He had a clique of friends that were richer than him and it seems like he was their errand boy whenever he is around them. But he didn't really care about that, he was carried away with paying his school fees, feeding and getting a new job
