GODFIDENCE

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENETH ME- Philippians 4:13.

I came across a message some weeks ago and it was really really imparting and promising at the same time. So in my own words i put down here for all eyes to read. I hope it will impart more into you too and be blessed as you read, Amen.

A group of boys engaged themselves in playing baseball. They actually started from their community as playfully as most other people enjoying themselves. But before they realized it, they were called upon to play against other communities which they easily beat hands down except one. Those ones escaped their wrath by beating them with 2 points ahead. They were all downcasted and because they've always been praised by so many people in their community, they felt so bad that they couldn't even face their own people afterwards. However, they didn't stop beating other communities as the game came over to them. Their only problem was this one community that still remains unbeatable. To their surprise and fear one day, they were called upon again to fight these "unbeatables". They practiced all they could and told one another that they are up to the task and will show their opponents what stuff they are made of. The D- day came and as they matched across the field, they saw how hefty their opponents were and remembered once again the other day they were beaten by them, and their heads went all down. They were afraid. But all of a sudden, a boy among them got his head all up and his shoulder high as if someone had just came to encourage him. What happened to this boy, why did that happen all of a sudden? He overheard among the opponent a boy to the others saying to them;"Look at that boy that really played well the other day. Am afraid he is at his best today, just take a good look at all of them, see their kits". And they were all kind of afraid of him. But  because they look hefty, they seem like they were going to beat these little boys one time.
Now what do i want to draw out from this little story? I want us to get the fact that first as a child of God, we have confidence in HIM. Once we are saved and abide by him, we automatically have confidence in him. (Joshua 1:9). But it is left to us to exercise it when a challenge comes around. Often times , when we are faced with problems, we just go face down and probably it will almost be too late before we can rise up to the challenge and try to figure it out. Why first degrade yourself by allowing grieve in you when you are supposed to have confidence in God. You don't need to start worshiping your problems and going all about with so much agony that it precipitates out and people kindof notice that something is totally wrong with you. It even get to the point that your daily activities, the chores you're supposed to do gets affected. The boys above when they saw their opponent(problem) were just too afraid , it  was obvious they might end up being beaten again.... If only they knew what the other little boy knew.
The devil likes to capitalize upon fearful minds and he takes the problem and spread it all over such persons life that it now seem like the most difficult thing on earth to solve. But that is if you allow him do such anyways. You have a powerful God, Isn't it? Am am telling you the devil is sore afraid of that fact! First he is afraid of the fact that you're a child of God , and that God has given you confidence. You only need to realize it yourself and don't allow him rob you of your happiness and joy in the Lord.  He is afraid of a child of God that exercise his faith and confidence in God i must say once again. He knows all that was written there in the Bible concerning you. He knows GOD is capable of seeing you through. You only need to make use of this wonderful promises. The little boy got his courage back on when he overheard what those other boys were saying about him and this brought about a new him..... from a fearful boy to a much more confident one.
Whatever it is you are faced by, you think it is so biggggggg and you are so afraid, you've cried and cried. No it shouldn't be. You're meant to be happy always that you have a powerful God - Philippians 4:4. because our God is not man, he is not going to fret because of one tiny little piece of challenge you're going through. All you need do is simply acknowledge  HIM as your confidence (psalm 27:3, 2 Timothy 1:7) and the devil, the problem will flee from you. It won't even dare to stand the power of God a second more. Therefore rejoice in HIM and do not put yourself down or cry to stupor before standing up against the problem. Instead, always say to yourself with all your heart; "I have confidence in God". And you really need to mean it.

You are HIS and HE is your CONFIDENCE- that's what i call GODFIDENCE.

STANDING FOR THE RIGHT.

Do the right things even if you're among the minority One time or the other in our lives we've made decisions basically because we have realized that we were previously wrong and had to make everything right. Now making it all right does not come without a price/ prices to pay for it. This is the part so many people don't want to talk or hear about and that is why most people just turn back from making that right decision they ought to. Here is a little story :         A young orphan, Mark struggled his way through to the university with the little jobs he did, he supported himself and was doing fine. All of  sudden he was dismissed from the job and couldn't fend for himself anymore. He had to l ive on what friends gave him. He had a clique of friends that were richer than him and it seems like he was their errand boy whenever he is around them. But he didn't really care about that, he was carried away with paying his school fees, feeding and getting a new job

NOT A STRAIGHT COURSE BUT BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose".  Romans 8:28 A straight course is not always the shortest distance between where we are and where we want to be.  It 'might' be another short distance to  confusion or probably destruction. Although we have our lives all planed out and we just work in line with it. But really it doesn't happen that way most of the time. There has to be some points God displaces our plans and replaces it with His. Trust me it doesn't seem like what we want at first but at the end all those interruptions from God into our lives work together for our good. Therefore having it at the back of our minds that 'our ways and thoughts are not His' will help us work more with God, trust Him and with high hopes pull through any challenging phase of our lives. Allowing God interrupt our straightway is also building humility in us. Humilit

BRAGGY BAG OF TALENTS.

This is what the Lord says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. Jeremiah 9:23 NLT Everyone has his/her own talents, abilities, empowerment in the right measure as deposited in them by God. And I know we even endeavor to learn more about others that attracts our interests. In fact we almost wants every empowerment God has to offer us. We even pray to God to add more talents to you or help you fully perfect the ones you have. Yeah that's good. It's okay that we desire all of these good things. But what are your aims. I mean after you get all these things what do you consciously or unconsciously (sometimes) do with them. A boastful person is perceived as restless, immodest, impatient, vainglorious, egotistical, proud to mention a few, but these piece will address some of it. So, here we go;       If we really dig deep into people's heart and find out why they want some things so much
